Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Germany. When you open a page, the server records your IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser type. These logs are needed to deliver the site and to detect attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are deleted after no more than 14 days. A data processing agreement with Hetzner is in place.

Booking a call

Appointments are booked through Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc.). When you book, the name, email address and any notes you enter are processed by Cal.com and transmitted to us to hold the meeting (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual steps). Cal.com's privacy policy: cal.com/privacy. Video calls take place on Google Meet.

Email

If you write to messadi@hephai.tech, we store your message and address to answer you and for the following correspondence (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Email is handled through Google Workspace.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for Saxony this is the Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte, Dresden. Write to messadi@hephai.tech to exercise any of these rights.
